Gents,
We are collecting donations for Mike Samson, our Men's Club liason and beloved assistant pro. On the eve of the National's opening day, Mike lost his mother after weeks in the hospital and enduring nearly a dozen surgeries. In lieu of flowers we're going to donate funds to Mike to help cover the medical and burial expenses.
Amazingly, Mike still showed up and worked opening day, but you could tell there was a tear in his eyes at all times.
