We have one of the best courses in the area which reopened in August 2024.: Millions of dollars went intothe golf course renovations in conjunction with stormwater abatement.  First class architecture, cutting edge water management systems, newly configured hole designs, reconstructed fairways, tree management and removal, new bunkers with updated drainage, fiercely devoted groundscrew, professional facility management in Kemper Sports, and roster of members befitting an association that dates to 1956. 

Membership Benefits for 2025
As a member of the Winnetka Men’s Golf Club you will receive the following benefits:

  • Availability of a broad selection of season long match play events ( the cost is $15 for each event entered); You play these matches at a course you and yoir opponent agree on.
    • Blanchard Cup (handicapped match play)
    • Senior, Super Senior and Golden Seniors Match play, 
    • Match Play for each Class,
    • Oberman Cup partners match play (2 man teams)
  • Eligibility to compete in the "Winnetka Cup" matches with intraclub events throughout the year. We have 1-2 matches to be scheduled for 2025;  1st match will be against  Palatine Hills (12 players) at our place. 
  • Join a team and play in the Thursday Night League (very popular for those where the weekend is hard to play).   Details forthcoming in April.
  • Spring Kickoff Dinner and a Fall Awards Dinner. The meal is covered in your dues (cash bar)  Great events to socialize and get to know past, present, and prospective members.
  • Automatic eligibility for the Winnetka Open, tentatively planned for July 2025.  36 hole low gross and low net competitions, senior championship category, additional games such as skins being contemplated.


We send out weekly emails with  updates on competition results, upcoming events, etc.

Our Dues are $125  for 2025. You will also need a  CDGA membership (which includes a handicap; you can sign up directly with the CDGA for $50 on auto renewal.

 

Sign ups for the 2025 season  will begin around Februay 28, 2025.

The Winnetka Men’s Club is a not-for-profit golfing organization that resides at the Winnetka Golf Club. The principal objective of the Club is to provide its members opportunities to participate in golf competition utilizing the USGA Rules of Golf.  In addition, the Club, through competitions and other activities, fosters fellowship among the club members and the Winnetka Golf Club staff, promotes the game of golf, and seeks to instill in the members a pride in the Winnetka golf course through their role as “Stewards of the Course."

When you are ready to pay for your annual dues and match play events, click on "New Member" or "Prior/Current Members." Select the type of membership and match play events you desire and then you can either click on "Register and Pay Online", which will re-direct you to PayPal, or click on "Register, print invoice, and pay by mail" if you prefer to pay by check.

If you choose to pay online at PayPal you can either:

  • Log into your PayPal account and make your payment through your PayPal account.
  • If you do not have a PayPal account, you can choose to use a debit or credit card account to make your payment using PayPal's  "Secure Guest Checkout."

The Winnetka Golf Club is located less than a mile East of I-94. If you are traveling North on I-94, take the Willow East Exit, go East to Hibbard, then 3 blocks North to Oak Street. Traveling South on I-94, get off at Tower, go East to Hibbard and then South to Oak Street. Coming from Green Bay Road in Winnetka, you can take Willow Road West to Hibbard and then North to Oak Street. Call 847-501-2050, ext. 0,  if you are lost and we will guide you.
